It is important to update the firmware whenever it is released so you get the latest features and bug fixes to enhance your camera performance. To get started, please make sure you do the following:
1. Insert a microSD card into the camera (Please note: outdoor camera models such as Ares, Triton, iSensor/iSensor Patio all have embedded memory so it is not neccesary to insert microSD card)
2. Your smart phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi Network.
If your camera needs firmware update, the app will automatically prompt a message like this when launched.
If you decide to update firmware at a different time and did not recieve the prompt update message when you revisit the app. You can manually update or check the firmware by taking the following steps:
1. Swipe and tap on "Settings"
2. Scroll down to "About this camera"
3. Tap on "Check upgrade"
