What is continuous video recording (CVR) and why do I need it?
Continuous video recording, as the name implies, records videos continuously. Seems simple enough, however, did you know that most of the smart security cameras nowadays do not provide this feature? Or even if they do, they charge users an arm and a leg for it. So why should you care whether or not your smart security cameras have this feature?
CVR will give you detailed information on what has happened. So whenever there’s an important event you’d like to revisit, you can rewind to that specific time, rewatch everything, and get the full picture. Be it from the first words your baby said, to where did the thief go after exiting your house.

For all Amaryllo smart security cameras, your continuously recorded videos will be stored locally on the camera first, either in a MicroSD card or internal storage*. If you wish to backup these videos, you may choose one of our service plans to store unlimited videos for up to 365 days! (Yes, days, not TB).
Viewing Your Videos
Once you have backed up your continuously recorded videos in our cloud servers, you may view them in the Archive section within the app, and choose which clip you wish to download or send to friends and families for viewing.
If you wish to view the footage on a PC or laptop, all you need to do is access your Google Drive account. You will notice a folder with your camera’s AMID created under “Shared with me”. You can then access all of your videos there.
Because all of the videos are stored in a shared folder, you don’t have to worry about the videos taking up any space in your personal Google Drive.
